The Inn at Trivium B&B and The Trivium Ballroom

The Inn at Trivium is proud to be starting its 4th year of operation!!  We have been fortunate to welcome hundreds of  Bed and Breakfast guests and host dozens of weddings and other events at our Inn and Special Events Facility in Goode, Virginia.  Thank you to all of you who have been our guests and welcome to all of you who are future guests!  We are conveniently located in the Heart of Virginia on Rt. 221, just 5 minutes from Forest "proper", 20 minutes from downtown Lynchburg and 10 minutes from downtown Bedford.

This beautiful antebellum home, built in 1832, is named Trivium because it is situated at a crossroads where a traveler might take one of three directions.  History tells us that a late 19th century owner called the dwelling Buena Vista; a name made clear by the magnificent views of the Blue Ridge Mountains and specifically the Peaks of Otter.  It is also believed that the property may have served as an outpost and tavern during the Civil War Era.

Set on 13 rolling acres and overlooking a 2 acre lake, the 5,000 square foot Inn warmly and elegantly decorated with a "country colonial" theme, boasts a total of 4 guest rooms, 2 of which are full suites.  All guest rooms offer a private bath.  Two of the bedrooms are luxurious two room suites, one with king-size 4 poster bed, lovely spacious parlor with DirecTV, and incredible views of the mountains and lake.  The other is truly an entire wing of the house!  Named for our local Delegate and neighbor, Lacey Putney, this suite boasts a beautiful queen-size iron bed and a private porch with rocking chairs to enjoy the lake.  Guests can relax in the many common areas, from the elegant parlor with gas-log fireplace, and the sunny dining room complete with plasma TV and DirecTV to outside on the patio or large "southern" columned porch complete with rocking chairs and views of the mountains.

There's so much to do and see in central Virginia and The Inn at Trivium is right in the heart of them!  We are 10 minutes from the National D-Day Memorial, 5 minutes from historical Poplar Forest, 25 minutes from the Peaks of Otter and the Blue Ridge Parkway, 20 minutes from downtown Lynchburg and all it has to offer.

Come stay with us... sit a spell, enjoy the mountains and sights, and come on back "home" for a gourmet meal in the evening!!!
